Lain and I made chocolate and maple donuts. They don’t look pretty but from what I tasted, they were pretty good… I think Red Velvet is next on the donut list… :)

This evening Lain and I made Maple Glaze Donuts (standard size)… I only had a small taste but from what I tasted, these where dense and moist (and quite flavorful). I think one of these donuts would fill a person up pretty good… Creating this particular dough from scratch took a lot of time and details (for me at least since I am not much of a cook) but was well worth it…

Lain and I just whipped up a batch of mini donuts. This weekend we will attempt to get fancy with various frosting types (which should also help hide the imperfections)… ;)
